At the same event, Brigadier General Amir Vahedi, the head of the Iranian Air Force, warned that Iranian warplanes, including the Russian-made Sukhoi-24, are at their highest readiness to counter any Israeli attack. He said, “We have full preparedness in all areas including our air coverage and bombers and we are ready for any operation.”
