If I don’t win, there will be bloodshed in the US: Trump

Former US President Donald Trump has said that if he does not win the presidential election to be held at the end of 2024, blood will flow. He said this mainly referring to the US car industry. He said this in an election campaign in the state of Ohio yesterday local time.

According to a report by the US broadcaster CNN, Trump said at the meeting held in Vandalia, Ohio, that if he is elected president, he will impose a 100 percent tariff on cars manufactured outside the United States and entering the country.

Trump said, “We will impose a 100 percent tariff on every car that comes in from outside the country.” At the time, he pointed to foreign car manufacturers, saying, “If I’m elected, you won’t be able to sell cars to customers here.”

The former president of the United States also said, “Now, if I am not elected, a whole river of blood will flow.” This will be the least damage.’ He further said, ‘A river of blood will flow across the country. This will be the least.’

Trump’s comments come at a time when Mexico’s electric and other car manufacturers are undergoing a positive change. He is basically standing up for the workers of the angry US auto manufacturing industry and trying to win them over to his side. Earlier, Trump told CNBC he would impose a 50 percent tariff on Chinese cars from Mexico if elected president.
