Attacks on Palestinian people must stop: King Salman in Eid speech

In a speech given on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz, demanded an end to violence in the Gaza Strip.

In his Eid al-Fitr speech on Tuesday, he emphasized the need to stop attacks on the Palestinian people.

At the same time, he called on the international community to open a safe corridor for providing relief to the famine-stricken Palestinians in the valley and to accept the legitimate demands of the Palestinians for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state for decades.

In Tuesday’s speech, King Salman congratulated all the Umrah pilgrims and all the officials engaged in the maintenance of the Kaaba and Masjid Nababi.

He also prayed to Allah that all Muslims in Saudi Arabia and the world may celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with joy and peace.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an operation in the Gaza Strip on October 7 in response to a surprise attack by Hamas, the group that controls the Gaza Strip.

More than 33,000 people have been killed and 75,000 injured in the last 7 months of operations.

In addition, millions of Palestinian people have lost their homes due to the bombing of the Israeli forces.
