Israel claims to kill 50 more gunmen in al-Shifa hospital

Israel revealed the killing of 50 more gunmen in al-Shifa hospital in Gaza. Israel claims its troops killed more than 50 more Hamas gunmen on Wednesday. As a result, the number of gunmen killed in the vicinity of the hospital has exceeded 140. The installation is said to contain terrorist infrastructure and weapons such as AK-47 automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, mortars and other artillery.

Earlier, Israel admitted killing 90 gunmen and arresting 160 others at Al-Shifa hospital.
“Many Hamas terrorists, operatives and seniors were hiding in the hospital along with Islamic Jihad militants,” said Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari. When we entered the hospital, we could see that terrorists were fighting us in this area.’

However, Hamas denied this claim of Israel.
According to them, the hospital is not sheltered by militants. Instead, injured patients and displaced persons were killed.
Al-Shifa was the largest hospital in Gaza before the war. Now this hospital has become one of the few hospitals that are partially functional.

Displaced people are also sheltered in this hospital in northern Gaza. Israel’s operation in al-Shifa hospital in Gaza started on Monday morning. The Israeli army said it had sent special forces to the hospital. Infantry and tanks were sent as support. Special forces were sent there based on intelligence that the gunmen were again using the hospital for their work.

Last November, Israeli forces came under fire after the first raid on Al Shifa hospital. The army claims to have many tunnels there. They said that these tunnels were used by the Palestinian independence group Hamas. However, Hamas and medical staff at the hospital have denied such claims by Israel. The hospital is not used for any military purpose and does not shelter combatants, they said.
