Put me in jail and release PTI leaders: Imran Khan

 

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) Imran Khan has called on the country’s judiciary and said that if they want to keep him in jail, let them release the leaders and workers of his party. This information is known from the report of the Pakistani media Express Tribune.

Imran Khan made this call while talking to reporters after hearing the 190 million pound corruption case on Tuesday. At that time, Imran Khan called on the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faiz Isa, to form a judicial committee to investigate the cases against the leaders and workers of his party on the charge of vandalizing an army installation on May 9 last year.

Imran Khan said, “There has been no investigation in this incident so far.” At this time, he said that the loss and concealment of evidence is also a kind of crime. Imran Khan said, “A political party is being eliminated based on the May 9 incident.”

Demanding justice in the trial of this case, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the authorities should consider releasing PTI leaders and workers. At that time he said, “If you want to keep me in jail, keep me.” Even so, let the rest go.’

Earlier, the fans and supporters of Imran Khan protested the arrest of Imran Khan across Pakistan. Pakistan government and army allege that Imran Khan’s supporters vandalized army installations in different parts of the country that day. A case was filed and arrested against a large number of PTI leaders and workers including Imran Khan.
